It’s no secret that the Gold Coast is hot property right now. With people flocking here from all over Australia, it’s no longer just a holiday destination, but somewhere to establish roots and settle down. For Craig Newnham, buyer at Lacey Group’s latest project The Del Ray Kirra Beach, the choice to call the Gold Coast home was a natural one.
In October 2021, Lacey Group announced the launch of their latest and biggest project yet, The Del Ray Kirra Beach.
72 luxuriously appointed two and three bedroom apartments are coming to the iconic southern Gold Coast township of Kirra Beach in 2022.
Prior to launch, the Kirra Beach development had already reached a lightning sell-out, with interest and action from buyers in the local and surrounding areas.
In search of community and a fresh lifestyle change, The Del Ray buyer Craig Newnham, was one of the first few to take up this new coastal living opportunity.
“It was the location and Lacey Group’s reputation for delivering quality products that enticed me to purchase within the Kirra Beach project,” said Mr Newnham.
“To be moving from a 5-acre property in the Northern Rivers to an apartment in Kirra Beach is a big step, but I’m ready to dip my toes in the water and try a sea change.”
The semi-retiree, future Kirra Beach local, said one of the driving decisions for the sea change was the search for community.
“There is something so unique about the southern end of the Coast – It’s got a different feel, protected beaches, and a great sense of community,” he said.
“The Del Ray will be a place to connect with others, particularly of similar ages and life stages as me, and be a community in itself.
“I’m looking forward to moving in and meeting the neighbours.”
Construction of The Del Ray Kirra Beach has officially begun.
