Lacey Group’s 2022 Yearly Wrap Up

With the holiday season on our doorstep and 2023 fast approaching, Lacey Group celebrates a successful year and prepares for an exciting year ahead.

Lacey Group is wrapping up 2022 with a bow after having our biggest year on record – having hit $100 million in revenue.

“This is a monumental and pivotal moment for Lacey Group. We are so proud of what we have achieved as a family-owned and boutique property business in 2022,” Lacey Group’s Managing Director, Adam Lacey said.

“The motto at Lacey Group is ‘building life’ and that’s how we foresee next year and many years to come. Our current portfolio and year of achievements are a direct reflection of this ethos.”

“My family has always called the Gold Coast home. We are so humbled to be able to provide spectacular beachside homes for locals and for those who relocate to the city.”

Giving back to the community is front of mind for Lacey Group and throughout 2022, we fundraised and made donations to several charities to support those in need.

One of Lacey Group’s most heartfelt highlights of 2022 is our efforts in raising $14,000 for Gold Coast figure Matt Schneider, a 38-year-old father of three with stage 4 bowel cancer, through our Lace’s Run for Matty.

Lacey Group also donated more than $28,000 throughout the year to a number of charities including the 2022 Ray White Ball, The Australian Red Cross, and the Queensland and NSW Floods Appeal.

Passionate about backing our local surf lifesaving community, we also donated $5,000 from The Monroe to Palm Beach Surf Life in early 2022. This donation went directly to the local surf club to purchase new lifesaving equipment.

In August Lacey Group also sponsored Gold Coast triathlete Ellen Guiney who participated in more than 120km of swimming, biking and running in Cairns, providing the 24-year-old sensation with assistance to continue her athletic journey.

With 105 beachside residences currently under construction, there’s plenty to look ahead to in 2023.

Interest rates are predicted to continue to rise next year, and the construction industry is set to face the same challenges of 2022 – a shortage of construction workers and some materials.

“The continued construction headwinds appear to be another challenging period ahead. We will remain focussed on delivering our current portfolio and discipled to ensure we are well positioned to capitalise on any future opportunities when the tides do turn,” Adam said.

“The past 12 months have provided a unique set of challenges in terms of construction and project delivery, but we remain focussed and partnered with the best to mitigate these issues and perform on our promises.”

Lacey Group will continue to work hand-in-hand with building partner Hutchinson Builders throughout 2023 to deliver two premier projects.

Lacey Group will also continue to strengthen our relationships with lenders with a circa of $63 million in loaned funds in 2023.

“On behalf of everyone at Lacey Group, we wish you a safe festival season, a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,” Adam said.
