It is with immense gratitude that I share this address, looking back on our accomplishments, acknowledging the challenges we’ve faced, and casting our eyes forward to a future of boundless opportunity.
Celebrating Milestones
This year, we reached a significant milestone with the successful completion of The Del Ray at Kirra Beach. A project that reflects our unwavering commitment to design excellence and community legacy, The Del Ray stands as more than just a building; it is a collection of sanctuaries, homes filled with life, love, and purpose. Witnessing the joy on the faces of new owners as they entered their homes is a moment of deep fulfilment and a reminder of why we do what we do.
This achievement was made possible through exceptional collaboration. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Hutchinson Builders’ Coolangatta Team for their dedication to delivering The Del Ray to the highest standard. To our consultants, contractors, financiers, and sales and marketing teams, your contribution is invaluable, and I thank you for your shared commitment to our vision.
Navigating Challenges
While we celebrate our successes, we cannot overlook the challenges that this year presented. The higher interest rate environment, softening market conditions, and pressures within the construction industry have tested many across the sector. Over the past 6-9 months, we have seen these conditions evolve, and we foresee this challenging environment continuing in the short to medium term.
Yet, it is in times of challenge that opportunity emerges. At Lacey Group, we remain resolute in our belief that these conditions will open the door to new possibilities. With a disciplined and strategic approach to site acquisitions, we are well positioned to capitalise on opportunities as they arise. Our recent project completions have placed us in a strong financial position, ensuring that we can move forward with confidence and purpose.
