Queenslanders are being given the opportunity to own their first home sooner, with funding support through a government incentive.
The Queensland Government is providing $15,000 for those looking to buy their first house, unit or townhouse valued at less than $750,000 through their First Home Owners’ Grant incentive.
Those interested in applying for the incentive can apply at any time and have the option to either buy off the plan or build yourself.
Processing times for when the grant is paid is variable depending on the build so it is advised for the one-off payment to not be used as a deposit.
